InterMed Now Accepting Health Options Members
InterMed is accepting Health Options Members as new patients. This will be welcome news to our Members who want to be seen at one of the largest and most respected practices in York and Cumberland counties. Be sure to share this information with your clients as you create 2020 proposals.
2020 Broker Training & Selling Requirements
Brokers appointed by Health Options must complete the annual training listed below as a condition of appointment. To be eligible to receive commissions for on-exchange business, the annual CMS Training is required before commissions will be released.
Health Options’ Fall Broker Partnership Training: If you did not attend an in-person training session, please review the recorded training webinar at https://youtu.be/kt1SAheZmNE. When finished, contact Ariel Thomas, Business Development Coordinator, at email@example.com or 207-402-3317.
CMS Training: Brokers enrolling Individuals on the Marketplace or SHOP groups must complete this training prior to first sale of Marketplace business for Open Enrollment. CMS Plan Year 2019 FFM Agreements/Training expired on October 31, 2019. Please email a copy of your 2020 completion certificate to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Update Profile: We ask that brokers annually update their profile in the broker portal and that agencies report and update changes to their rosters. This will help to ensure that commissions are delivered to the correct location.

We are pleased to announce that, effective immediately, InterMed has expanded its network to include Community Health Options.
This means that new and current Health Options Members may receive healthcare services from InterMed providers at the in-network rate and/or designate an InterMed provider as their primary care provider.
